I came to GSTM with the intention of getting a mullet and unfortunately left with something completely different. I have to admit that I can never describe the haircut I want down to the last detail. That's why I usually give my hairdressers free rein when it comes to the main part of it, beyond the basic idea. Unfortunately, I don't think I was able to communicate it this time, and with vague questions and inept answers, the idea of a mullet got lost in translation. As I was not happy with the first result, I was offered a redo at no extra cost, and while I greatly appreciated the offer, the very temperamental manner in which it was delivered made me feel very uncomfortable and put on the spot, especially after I had declined several times with thanks. After I finally accepted, another misunderstanding meant that I didn't just get the parts I wanted cut, so I ended up with a completely different hairstyle. Although it was more or less expertly cut, it was unfortunately not very flattering. For me, the ability to adjust proportions is something that separates an average hairdresser from an excellent one, hence my rating. All in all, I would describe the visit as a learning experience and would advise anyone with similar difficulties to mine to bring a visual reference, as I will next time once my hair has grown back.

I've had my hair cut twice by Gennaro, and it's been a great experience both times. You can really see the 20 years of experience he has. He takes the time to explain each cut step by step, adapting to the client's face and giving advice during the consultation. He does an amazing job with shades and is also very nice and easy to talk to. It's great to chat with him during the cut. I'll definitely go again. I highly recommend him!

This review is looonngg overdue!! BUT - my god I would give even more stars if I could, trust! As someone who has had past hip length hair all their life - I've been through some hairstylist trauma, ALRIGHT - it was never what I wanted, never felt actually seen, listened or cared for, for what I wanted. Not here- oh no no no NOOOO!! Giovanni not just listened and cared for what I've been wanting for a long time, but also brought it to life perfectly!! With his own talent and touch of it and UGH I am in love!! Considering I walked in anxious as hell, especially regarding old scars I've had on my scalp due to my past, and my anxiety in general - I walked out feeling better about my self and my hair then ever before!! So big thank you to Giovanni and the rest of the amazing team for simply being amazing people!! I cannot wait to return and enjoy that experience all over again for I will NEVER get a hair cut anywhere else!! Grazie <3 - Jean <3

The hair dresser made a mistake: Part of the top was way shorter than other parts of the top. Only option that I was given: Cut everything evenly way too short. So I paid 50 € for a screw up. The mistake was a shame for this kind of a price, but what makes me write this review, is that the salon is apparently unable find any solution in a situation like this.

I got my hair cut on Saturday by ***. I thought a lot about if I should write this because I really loved my haircut and my experience with *** the first time, where I felt he put in a lot of care. This time, he was constantly touching/wiping his nose and a dog while cutting my hair, the haircut itself was really quick, and he left me with a heat lamp to do his groceries, saying he'd come back in 10 minutes. The other staff intervened because the heat lamp was getting too hot, especially on one part of my scalp, and they noticed that i was uncomfortable. He came back in 20+ minutes After that, there was no trim or final touch up or anything. I left feeling really sad and washed my hair as soon as I was home, my scalp was tender. The hair cut cost 65-70 euros.

The salon has a good vibe and I saw a lot of cool haircuts, lots of good layering techniques whether with razor or scissors. I guess the hair dresser didnt have the skills or wasnt willing to show his haircut skills with my hair. I kept quiet for most of the time and showed him a couple of pictures of what I had in my mind. But he basically stated at the end that he did something different to what I wanted which I find surprising but maybe he lacked the skill. No layers or structure of my hair "cut" whatsover. It looks worse to what I had previously and I let my hair grow for 7/8months hence layering was needed and I mentioned it but the hair dresser didnt feel like putting a structure or any layers in my hair cut. I never received such a hair cut, I feel very uncomfortable walking around with this hair cut. I dont like leave bad comments as I saw what other hair technicians could provide but I feel that it was necessary in this case as the hair dresser in question openly told me that he did sth completely different. Maybe he felt I deserved a bad hair cut or whatsoever but I dont think it is personal it may just be that he has not that much skill in addition to ignoring clients wishes.

I have never been so satisfied with my haircut since I chose to go to Gennaro at GSTM! My hair is very fine and thin and I don't trust hairdresser easily (bcf a lot bad experiences of the past), wouldn't come back if I wouldn't really be convinced for sure. The price for me is not so low but definitely worth it for me😊🙏. I can recommend Gennaro and will book him by myself again as long as it is possible in the future ☺️! Booked an appointment with Alessandro via Studiobookr, was assigned another stylist without any explanation. Asked for a blunt cut that skimmed the shoulders, was given a chin-length blunt cut without any explanation. The cut itself is lackluster, banal, and not at all tailored to my features - which I only saw when I got home since the stylist didn't even offer a second mirror at the end so I could see how the back and sides looked. The stylist was friendly and courteous, and I appreciate that he recommended against the shag haircut that I wanted, based on my hair texture. But he also repeatedly wiped snot from his nose with his fingers and then touched my hair, which was such bizarre behavior that I didn't feel able to address it in the moment, so I just washed my hair as soon as I got home. I feel like the philosophy of this salon is that you'll get what you're given and they don't care what you want. I cannot recommend it and I will not be returning. Very weird experience.

Yesterday, I went for a balayage to blend with my gray hair. I wanted something natural, not hiding the grays and not too blonde. However, my roots got darker, and my hair turned much blonder than expected. It wasn't what I wanted. I think it might have been due to the long hours, lighting, or a language barrier that made it hard to express my discomfort. When I got home, I wasn't happy with the result. I just emailed them, asking for a free darker toner. I hope they can fix it. The place is nice, with good music, and the staff is friendly. I trust they can make the unwanted result right.

I was there for the 1st time a month ago. I've been wearing a mullet for 2 years. I was never completely satisfied with the result, I was also afraid that it wouldn't be good/perfect again. Lindsey cut my hair , I told her "do whatever you want" and it was/is perfect. I have a new hairstyle, never imagined wearing a haircut like this. Now I can't imagine my old haircut anymore. I can’t tell you enough, how happy I am and how perfect my Haircut is to me, and as strange as it may sound but I found myself anew.
