Declaration of accessibility

Scope of application

This accessibility statement applies to the publicly accessible website www.studiobookr.com.

As a company, we endeavour to make our websites and mobile applications accessible in accordance with the provisions of the Accessibility Improvement Act (BFSG) and the Ordinance to the Accessibility Improvement Act (BFSGV) implementing the European Accessibility Directive (Directive (EU) 2019/882 on the accessibility requirements for products and services).

General description of the service

studiobookr is an online appointment booking platform for companies in the beauty industry (e.g. hairdressers, beauticians, nail studios, tattoo studios, etc.). A permanent internet connection is required to use the application.

Explanations for use

Consumers can use the studiobookr web interface to book appointments with participating companies or purchase vouchers from these companies online. Registration is not necessary. The data required for the calendar or voucher purchase is requested each time it is used. To simplify operation, this data can be saved locally in the browser.

Existing customers of a participating company can book directly. New customers must confirm their identity by email or optionally by text message within 30 minutes. If no confirmation is received, the reserved appointment is automatically cancelled.

Participating companies can also allow booked appointments to be cancelled within a specified period. The corresponding link can be found in the confirmation email that is sent after successful payment.

The website is generally compatible with assistive technologies such as screen readers, screen magnification software and keyboard navigation.

Status of compatibility with the requirements

The website www.studiobookr.com is fully compliant with the requirements of the harmonised standard EN 301 549 and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, conformance level AA. The accessibility requirements result from the Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG) and the associated ordinance (BFSGV), which implements the European Directive (EU) 2019/882.

The audit was carried out as a self-assessment by internal specialists, taking into account legal and normative requirements (EN 301 549, WCAG 2.1 Level AA).
